Well, Tanjiro ain’t no descendant of Yoriichi Tsukiguni. He’s the descendant of someone who knew Yoriichi real good - they were buddies! Yoriichi saved Sumiyoshi from a demon and after that they got real close. They’d meet up often and became tight.
